The 17th Dubai Airshow 2021 took place in the United Arab Emirates from 14 to 18 November. This event is one of the largest air shows in the world.The XV International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 was held on July 21-25 at the airfield of the country's central test base - M.M. Gromov Flight Research Institute. The 14th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia-2021 was held in Moscow from 20 to 22 May.
This year FIDAE took place from 3 to 8 April, covering an area of 1,500 sq.m. and included a variety of thematic halls: a hall of Chilean companies, hall of space technologies, hall of aircraft, of civil aviation, as well as an exposition of the Chilean National Museum of Aeronautics and Space.
More than 580 exhibitors from 46 countries, 600 trade delegations and 1,200 journalists took part in the exhibition. FIDAE is undoubtedly the most important aviation fair on the South American continent, which is confirmed by demonstration of the latest aircrafts.
Since 2006 the FIDAE exhibition takes place in the northern sector of the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile, on the territory of which a special exhibition area is arranged.
In the countries of the region Russian aviation materiel is widely used, therefore, since the very foundation of FIDAE Russian companies have actively participated in it. Deliveries in Latin American countries are an important activity for AVIAHELP group. The company cooperates with more than a dozen of customers in the region, including aircraft operators, aircraft repair companies and training centers. The delivery programs for maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft, maintenance repairs and modernization of Russian helicopters are the most popular ones among the customers of the company.
