The 17th Dubai Airshow 2021 took place in the United Arab Emirates from 14 to 18 November. This event is one of the largest air shows in the world.The XV International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 was held on July 21-25 at the airfield of the country's central test base - M.M. Gromov Flight Research Institute. The 14th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia-2021 was held in Moscow from 20 to 22 May.
Authorized representatives of «AVIAHELP GROUP» JSC, the biggest Russian independent supplier of aviation equipment, have taken part in the Ceremony of rolling out of the first aircraft MC-21-300, made for flight-testing.
This event took place on June 8 at Irkut Corporation’s plant in Irkutsk.
The ceremony of rolling out was opened by Oleg Demchenko, President of «Corporation Irkut» JSC and Russian Prime-Minister Dmitriy Medvedev.
The aircraft became the first prototype of Russia’s new generation MC-21 narrow-body, having made by «Corporation Irkut» JSC.
The first flight of MC-21 will take place in the period from December 2016 to February 2017, by results of ground tests on the flight test station.
Getting a national type certificate and the first supply of the aircraft to the client are planned at the end of 2018.
Aeroflot airline will become the first air-operator of MC-21. As it is expected, these aircrafts will not only replace TU-154 and TU-204 but as well will compete with Airbus A 320 and Boeing 737.

We are sure that the result of this collaboration will allow us to strengthen the economic attractiveness of maintaining airworthiness, including aircrafts MC-21 in Russia, even more increasing the attractiveness of these aircrafts in the eyes of potential buyers».
