Russian Insurance Agency for export credits and investments ensures AVIAHELP export supplies to India
AVIAHELP EXPORT Ltd. signed new insurance contracts with Russian Insurance Agency for export credits and investments (EKSAR).
Under those agreements EKSAR provided AVIAHELP with the insurance coverage of the goods exported to India (helicopter and aircraft components for MI-17, AN-32 and IL-76). The total value of the insured supplies amounted to more than $1,6 millions. The Agency covered the risks of nonpayment as well.
According to Petr Fradkov, the General Director of EKSAR, «the Agency launched cooperation with AVIAHELP in August 2013 when we signed our first insurance contract. During the next year and a half our companies already signed 8 contracts for AVIAHELP export sales to China, India and Peru for more than $10 millions in total. I am confident that our cooperation with such a dynamic partner will be more intensive due to the increase of the volume of export sales and geographic expansion of AVAIHELP».
«We are deeply satisfied with the efficient cooperation with EKSAR, - Yury Ridzel the General Director of AVIAHELP EXPORT Ltd. said». – For example, thanks largely to our export credit insurance contract with EKSAR signed in 2013 to insure supplies of aviation spares to China, our company sales volume in this country grew more than tenfold by the end of 2013. That allowed AVIAHELP not only keep its leading position among Russian aviation equipment suppliers in 2014 but also expand its geographic coverage by 50%. Actually our group of companies operates in 33 countries of the world as an export agent for Russian aviation equipment manufacturers and at its own expense renders them a number of services including logistic, financial, customs and marketing support. That is why we plan to develop our cooperation with EKSAR in 2015».
