MI-17 is a multipurpose middle class helicopter. MI-17 appeared as a new modification based on MI-8 helicopter.
The designers of MI-17 kept the main advantages of MI-8, namely its efficient construction, high level of performance and operational security within wide temperature range (from -50C to +50C), easy maintenance, as well as much lower price in comparison to the similar international helicopters.
The most outstanding feature of MI-17 in comparison with MI-8 is a higher-performance engine.
Another feature of that modification was tail rotor placement to the port that allowed in order to improve its flight especially its ceilings and time-to-climb rate.
Nowadays MI-17 is operated in more than 60 countries of the world.

MI-26
МI-26 is a heavy-lift multipurpose helicopter.
It is the largest series-produced transport helicopter in the world.
The helicopter is equipped with the external load system that enables it to carry standard shipping containers.
Multi-purpose stabilizing platform allows to accelerate its speed up to 200 km/h while transporting oversize and long loads by means of external load system.
In addition MI-26 is equipped with automatic gripping device for gripping of wood in mountainous areas.

КА-32 is a middle class multipurpose helicopter designed for cargo transportation.
КА-32 helicopter is a modification of КА-27ПС, designed especially for civil use considering successful deck start of КА-25 and КА-27.
Initially КА-32 was supposed to be used mainly for ice observation in the extreme Arctic conditions with day-night capability. Nevertheless KA-32 was later modified as multipurpose all-weather helicopter:
• for rescue purposes,
• transportation,
• unloading of vessels and maintenance operations at oil platforms,
• crane operations during equipment installation,
• transportation of fine wood,
• patrol service
and other purposes.
The helicopter is equipped with advanced navigation complex with airborne electronic computer, surveillance radar station, anti-icing systems and dedicated equipment.
КА-32 is a unique modification to be operated as a cargo carrier with external load and as a «flying crane» for assembling high-rise constructions. Coaxial configuration of КА-32 main rotor system has a number of crucial advantages in hovering and maneuver capability that enables the helicopter to execute complicated erecting works.
